Your Mission

HOERBIGER Safety Solutions/IEP Technologies (IEP) is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. Our Inside Sales team is a key driver of our growth and customer satisfaction, supporting Regional Sales Managers with detailed and accurate proposals for engineered explosion protection systems. This role demands a balance of technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive problem-solver with a passion for understanding manufacturing processes, a knack for technical writing, and the ability to work independently while maintaining responsiveness.

 

 

How you will make a difference

  • Develop comprehensive commercial proposals for engineered explosion protection systems.
  • Support Regional Sales Managers through creating proposals, and addressing customer inquiries
  • Collaboration and Research - Work closely with internal teams to gather information for accurate proposals.  Understand and interpret P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) to tailor solutions to customer needs.  Investigate and resolve issues independently when needed.

What you should be good at

  • Two Years’ proven experience in technical writing, proposal development, or a related role in an industrial or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with explosion protection systems or engineered solutions is a plus.
  • BS in Engineering or Business preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of P&IDs and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Resourcefulness, independence, and an eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
