Assembly Operator I (3rd Shift)

Your Mission

As an Assembly Operator I (3rd Shift - 10:00 pm- 6:00 am), you will efficiently and accurately assemble, test, and package materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for final shipment to the customer.

How you will make a difference

•    Ensure Quality and Precision: By verifying proper components, identifying improper laser markings and bolt locking, and recognizing assembly defects, you'll ensure that each product meets high standards.
•    Enhance Efficiency: By selecting the correct springs and pins, installing locating pins properly, and torquing valves accurately, you'll contribute to a smooth and efficient assembly process.
•    Guarantee Reliability: By performing proper leak tests and packaging, you'll ensure that the products are reliable and safe for end-users.
•    Maintain Versatility: By being able to assemble, torque, leak test, and pack 5 of the 9 defined valve types, you'll offer versatility and adaptability to meet various production needs.

What you should be good at

  • Experience and Technical Skills: High school diploma or GED, one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Language Skills: Read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Additionally, you should be able to present information effectively in both one-on-one and small group settings and write short correspondence clearly and effectively in English.
  • Mathematical Skills: Understand basic arithmetic, like adding and subtracting decimals. You should be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division accurately. You also need to be proficient in both English and Metric units, including conversions between them.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
