Production Supervisor

Your Mission

As a Production Supervisor you will be part of a team that will design, develop and deploy a continuous improvement process to increase efficiency and quality. To achieve the desired future state the overall planning and execution of the production operations will be improved jointly with new CNC technologies, robust processes, and a flexible, highly trained workforce. Focusing on a collaborative team approach to accomplish goals will drive cultural changes and employee engagement necessary to accomplish operational excellence.

How you will make a difference

  • Manufacturing Problem Resolution: Assisting and advising on manufacturing problems, utilizing staff services to resolve issues, and implementing corrective procedures.
  • Operations Surveillance: Maintaining a hands-on approach by reviewing reports, attending staff meetings, and observing operations to ensure workflow integration, timely production, and the effective oversight of essential manufacturing programs, including training, safety, housekeeping, and cost reduction.
  • Support Continuous Improvement: Actively manage and support continuous improvement efforts in Safety, Environmental, and 5S by mentoring and educating, while identifying areas for enhancement and implementing strategies to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Report Preparation: Preparing detailed and precise reports for management, offering valuable insights and information.
  • Development of Plans and Policies: Collaborate closely with the Management Team to develop and continuously review short-term and long-term plans, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals, ensuring they remain relevant and effective while consistently enforcing company work rules and regulations.
  • Staffing Requirements: Foster continuous staff development through regular coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations, while establishing clear performance expectations, maintaining accurate records of performance and disciplinary actions for transparency and consistency, and participating in the recruitment process by conducting interviews to identify the best candidates.

What you should be good at

Educational and Professional Background: 
•    Bachelor’s degree in industrial management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
•    Have 5-10 years of experience in supervisory and managerial positions related to Machining and/or Polymer Molding, or equivalent education and experience.
•    CNC machining experience is an advantage.

Language Skills:
•    Proficiency in presenting information to both small and large groups.
•    Ability to create and manage written documentation, including recording and supplying information.

Mathematical Skills:
•    Proficiency in Shop Math and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Computer Skills:
•    Possess excellent computer skills.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
