Your Mission
How you will make a difference
As a Quality Technician, you will support the organization in minimizing non-conforming outputs by conducting daily quality checks, mentoring new employees, keeping Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs updated, and identifying the root causes of non-conformances to suggest comprehensive corrective actions. This role is crucial in maintaining and improving the organization's quality standards through both preventive and corrective efforts.
What you should be good at
Equipment Operation
• Operate and understand basic inspection equipment: Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, Hardness Testers, Profilometers, Optical comparators, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) basics.
Quality Checks
• Ensure parts conform to blueprints and identify additional defects (damages, material impurities, etc.).
• Document and report all non-conforming products.
• Act as MRB for internal non-conformances.
Root Cause Analysis
• Support production with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Handle customer returns, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Inventory Management
• Proactively check stock based on customer feedback.
• Manage inventory and make final dispositions as needed.
Communication and Training
• Communicate and work across departments.
• Conduct on-boarding training for new employees on ISO standards, blueprint reading, and using measuring tools.
What you can look forward to
Educational and Experience requirements:
• A high school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years relevance experience in Quality.
• 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing.
Language Skills:
• Demonstrated proficiency in English.
• Strong ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Excellent capability to write clear and concise correspondence.
• Effective presentation skills for engaging in one-on-one and small group interactions with customers, clients, and colleagues.
Mathematical Skills:
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with two-digit numbers.
Computer Skills:
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in using spreadsheets and word processing software.
• Knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage.
