How you will make a difference
- Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing to improve supply chain quality through audits, corrective actions, and process enhancements
- Review and oversee the conformance of incoming raw materials, acting as MRB for supplier-related quality issues
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, leveraging problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, and root cause analysis
- Identify and lead quality improvements within manufacturing, utilizing innovative technologies and methodologies
- Uphold ISO 9001:2015 standards while supporting both internal and external audit processes to maintain compliance
What you should be good at
- Possessing a bachelor's degree in Quality or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience Demonstrating at least five years in a quality engineering role within manufacturing – machining of precision parts
- Demonstrating at least five years in a quality engineering role within manufacturing – machining of precision parts
- Mastering CMM programming, with the ability to train others in its use
- Executing end-to-end projects and leading corrective action or Material Review Board meetings applying advanced problem-solving methodologies, including 8D processes and root cause analysis, to ensure quality resolutions
