Your Mission

As a UK Regional Sales at Newson Gale Ltd, you will take a customer-first approach, driving innovation and providing technical expertise in electrostatic earthing and bonding solutions. In this role, you’ll become a key partner to customers ranging from shop floor operators to senior technical and executive staff. Your mission will be to elevate Newson Gale’s market presence by offering tailored, standards-driven solutions, ensuring the safety and compliance of electrostatic earthing systems, and building long-term, value-based relationships.

How you will make a difference

  • Lead with Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of hazardous area environments (ATEX) and the certification of electrostatic earthing systems to guide customers through technically complex solutions.
  • Customer-Centric Problem Solving: Understand the unique needs of each customer and provide them with the most appropriate, cost-effective technical solutions, always ensuring their safety and compliance.
  • Innovative Sales Approach: Embrace the Challenger Sales model by teaching, tailoring, and taking control of sales conversations, addressing challenges head-on, and building trust with customers.
  • Technical Demonstrations: Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations, educating customers on how our products solve real-world challenges in electrostatic earthing and bonding systems.
  • Impactful Site Surveys & Reporting: Perform site surveys at customer facilities, generating comprehensive reports that reflect agreed-upon specifications and align with applicable standards.
  • Digital Sales: When you are not travelling to meet our Customers you will be taking advantage of our Digital Sales Presentation suit at our Nottingham site, meeting and presenting to customers on-line. 

What you should be good at

  • Sales Leadership: Proactively manage a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and working with the internal team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Technical Expertise: Have a strong understanding of electrical, electronic, and control systems and demonstrate the ability to discuss technical specifications confidently with customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Navigate diverse customer interactions, from shop floor operators to senior technical staff, using clear, solution-focused communication.
  • Process Efficiency: Apply attention to detail to issue quotations, manage orders, and ensure quality assurance compliance in line with internal procedures.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Work effectively in both digital and field environments, adapting to changing market conditions and customer requirements.
  • Experience: Either experience in or a degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.  Experience in ATEX areas and CRM systems is also desirable.

This role is based in the HOERBIGER Safety Division at Newson Gale Ltd. We are a global leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of static control equipment for hazardous areas, serving customers across EX/HAZLOC industries. With internationally recognized EX product certifications, we pride ourselves on delivering solutions that prioritize safety, reliability, and innovation.
