Your Mission
Our Senior Electronics Engineers design low-power, safety-critical hardware for use in hazardous areas, supporting both new and existing Newson Gale products. They lead circuit design from concept to launch and work closely with the Engineering and wider NPD teams to ensure products meet market requirements through effective design, development, and testing.

Drive Innovation: By leading the design of new, safety-critical hardware solutions that enhance product performance and meet evolving market demands.

Ensure Product Safety and Compliance: Designing against Intrinsic Safety standards ensures products meet strict safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Accelerate Time-to-Market: Taking projects from concept to launch will help us streamline development and reduce delays in product delivery.

Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with Engineering and wider NPD teams, helping improve communication, integration, and overall project success.

Support Continuous Improvement: Contributing technical expertise and feedback will support ongoing enhancements in product design and development processes.
What you should be good at

Circuit Design Expertise: Strong ability to design and develop low-power, safety-critical electronic circuits.

Knowledge of Safety Standards: Familiarity with ATEX, IECEx, or similar regulations for hazardous area equipment.

Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex design challenges and deliver practical, reliable solutions.

Project Leadership: Experience managing product development from concept to launch, including planning and execution.

Collaboration and Communication: Effective at working with cross-functional teams and clearly conveying technical ideas and project updates.
