Your Mission

As a Compensation & Benefits Expert, You’ll play a key role in shaping and executing HOERBIGER’s global Total Reward strategy. This is more than just a role — it’s an opportunity to make a real difference. You will partner closely with People & Culture (P&C) and business leaders, offering strategic advice, driving global initiatives, and ensuring continuous improvement of our reward systems and tools.

How you will make a difference

Salary & Bonus Cycles: You’ll be integral to our global salary and bonus reviews, overseeing everything from data preparation in SuccessFactors and analysis to communication with local P&C and managers.
Benchmarking & Job Evaluation: Your insights into market trends, benchmarking, and job evaluations will ensure internal equity and external competitiveness, helping us remain at the forefront of compensation practices.
Expert Support: You’ll become a trusted advisor to People & Culture partners, senior management, and employees, providing expert guidance on compensation and benefits.
Strategic Projects: You’ll develop and continuously enhance compensation and benefits programs that not only align with our business goals but also set us apart in the market.

Digital Transformation: Your expertise will streamline and enhance global processes — contributing to operational excellence and driving digital transformation in rewards.

What you should be good at

Experience: You bring 3 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits or Total Rewards, ideally in a global, matrixed environment where Your strategic input has had a measurable impact.
Expertise: You are confident working with job evaluation systems like Mercer, Korn Ferry HAY, WTW and possess a deep understanding of benchmarking practices.
Communication: Your strong communication skills enable You to effectively engage and collaborate with a diverse range of global stakeholders — including senior management. German is a strong advantage.

  • Technical Skills: You have advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS systems like SAP and SuccessFactors or Workday, allowing You to make data-driven decisions with confidence.
    Analytical Mindset: You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for using data to drive decisions and continuously improve compensation strategies.
