Your Mission

As a Maintenance D Technician, you play a key role in supporting smooth and safe operations at our Delray Beach facility while providing occasional support to our Pompano Beach location. You contribute directly to the reliability of our production environment, ensuring that machining processes, waste handling, and basic maintenance activities run efficiently and safely every day.
You will work hands-on in a dynamic environment, supporting both production and maintenance functions. Your work helps protect the environment, maintain compliance, and keep our high‑precision machining operations running at their best. Your contribution truly makes a difference.

How you will make a difference

Shavings & Processing Management
• Processing machining shavings safely and efficiently
• Maneuvering containers using a forklift
• Operating and monitoring conveyors
• Identifying problematic materials for processing machinery
• Performing minor troubleshooting and escalating larger issues
• Ensuring no environmental risks arise from shavings or waste

Regulated Waste Handling
• Collecting, labeling, and storing waste correctly
• Following all safety and environmental handling procedures
• Supporting scheduling and documentation for waste pickups
• Assisting with on‑site waste pickup activities
Lubricants, Fluids & Oil Management
• Managing cutting fluid and oil supply in the plant
• Monitoring concentration levels and recycling activities
• Ensuring proper stocking levels and reporting shortages

Bulk Waste & Grounds Management
• Coordinating the correct filling of large open‑top dumpsters
• Planning ahead for timely waste pickups
• Keeping outside facility areas clean and trash‑free

Maintenance Support
• Assisting mechanics with repairs and preventive maintenance
• Supporting scheduled maintenance activities as needed

What you should be good at

Technical & Mechanical Skills
• Performing simple repairs using hand tools
• Operating a forklift and industrial lift trucks safely and confidently
• Taking accurate measurements and evaluating tolerances
• Using calipers, tape measures (to 1/16”), and basic measuring tools

Math & Reasoning Skills
• Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using imperial and metric units
• Converting between measurement systems
• Applying logical, structured problem‑solving to routine tasks

Computer & Communication Skills
• Basic use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Email communication
• SAP experience preferred
• Ability to write short, clear correspondence

Physical Requirements
• Lifting up to 75 lbs
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Bending, kneeling, and crawling as needed
• Reading small print and identifying colors
• Flexibility to support off‑shift work, weekends, holidays, and occasional after‑hours calls
