Your Mission
As a Field Service Supervisor, you play a key role in our service business for compressor solutions. You lead international teams on-site at customer locations and ensure that service operations are carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. As a hands-on leader, you not only guide your team but also actively contribute to service activities on site. You combine technical expertise with strong leadership and customer focus. Together, we drive continuous improvement and shape the future of our service operations. Your area of responsibility covers South-East Europe, including Greece and Israel, with regular travel across the region.
How you will make a difference
- Lead teams: Take responsibility for guiding and coordinating field service teams and subcontractors on-site
- Ensure safety: Maintain full compliance with QSSE, ISO and safety standards while fostering a strong safety culture
- Drive service execution: Plan, supervise and perform maintenance, repair and troubleshooting activities on reciprocating compressors
- Build customer trust: Coordinate closely with customers, clarify requirements and ensure high-quality outcomes
- Improve processes: Identify optimisation opportunities and implement improvements in service operations
- Deliver results: Document findings, evaluate data and develop technical solutions based on service insights
What you should be good at
- Technical foundation: Degree or vocational training in mechanical engineering or a comparable field, ideally with compressor-related qualifications
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in maintaining rotating equipment, with initial leadership responsibility in field service
- Expert knowledge: good working knowledge of reciprocating compressors and basic knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Problem solving: Excellent analytical skills and confidence in troubleshooting complex mechanical challenges
- Communication skills: Fluent in English and Hungarian, with additional language skills such as Romanian or a South Slavic lanugage considered an advantage
- Flexibility: High willingness to travel across Europe and work in international environments
