Your Mission

As Market Manager Paper (m/f/d), you will lead and execute growth strategies for the Paper market segment in France and North Africa. You will be responsible for managing the product portfolio, understanding customer needs, and identifying market opportunities. Your role will be pivotal in driving Deublin’s market share and profitability through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.

How you will make a difference

  • Understand the market: You conduct market research and customer visits to gain insights into buying behavior and technical requirements.
  • Develop strategies: Based on customer insights and segment analysis, you design targeted growth strategies.
  • Analyze competition: You identify relevant OEMs, end users, and geographic opportunities.
  • Manage the portfolio: You build models to steer your market segment and bring in fresh ideas.
  • Uncover needs: Together with Engineering, you conduct customer surveys and identify unspoken requirements.
  • Collaborate across functions: You work closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Service.
  • Apply Lean principles: You use Lean methods, 80/20 thinking, and problem-solving tools to improve performance.
  • Shape the future: You support long-term planning through solid market analysis and early identification of growth opportunities.

What you should be good at

  • Strong communicator: You present technical content clearly and convincingly – internally and externally.
  • Technically skilled: You interpret complex technical information and make sound decisions.
  • Analytical thinker: You approach challenges with structure and find sustainable solutions.
  • Project leader: You have experience leading projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to travel: You’re open to traveling up to 50% in France and North Africa.
  • Experienced & qualified: You bring at least 5 years of experience in sales or product management – ideally with direct customer contact. A technical or business degree is required; an MBA is a plus.
