Field Service Manager

Your Mission

As our Field Service Manager, you lead and develop a high-performing field service organization that delivers safe, reliable, and customer‑focused services across the Benelux and Rhein-Ruhr region. You ensure operational excellence, service quality, and profitability—while driving a culture of safety, competence, and continuous improvement.

How you will make a difference

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse Field Service team, ensuring strong performance, technical excellence, and customer orientation.
  • Coordinate and oversee all field service projects—from planning and scheduling to execution and reporting—to ensure safe, timely, and efficient service delivery.
  • Strengthen HOERBIGER’s service quality and compliance by implementing and maintaining best‑practice standards for HSE, ISO, VCA-VOL, and technical procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and external partners to deliver seamless, end-to-end service solutions.
  • Champion customer relationships by analyzing service findings, discussing results onsite, and developing performance‑enhancing service contracts.

What you should be good at

  • Deep technical knowledge of reciprocating compressors or comparable rotating equipment (e.g., engines, pumps) and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and developing multi-disciplinary service teams in an international industrial environment.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing complex service interventions.
  • Solid understanding of HSE compliance and experience in promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (German beneficial), supported by strong stakeholder management abilities.
