Your Mission
As a Field Service Technician, your mission is to ensure the successful introduction, adoption, and ongoing performance of the ERS system in the field. You will play a vital role in supporting first-time installations, empowering local service teams through training, and acting as a technical expert during on-site commissioning and troubleshooting. By enabling local units to operate independently, you will help accelerate market acceptance while continuously feeding insights back into product and service improvements.
How you will make a difference
- Supervise and support commissioning activities at initial customer installations
- Provide on-site field service and repair support for mechanical and electrical equipment
- Act as a 2nd-level troubleshooting expert, resolving complex technical issues in the field
- Support internal testing and validation activities
- Collect and channel customer and field feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with engineering, training, and service teams to refine service concepts and product performance
- Build strong relationships with customers and external service partners, representing technical excellence on-site
What you should be good at
- You have completed a technical education in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering (HTL or University of Applied Sciences level)
- 3-5 years of experience in oil & gas, energy, or comparable technical industries
- Hands-on involvement in product installations, troubleshooting, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems
- Translating technical knowledge into clear service guidelines and practical training content
- Identifying root causes and proposing sustainable technical solutions
- Communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, from engineers to customers and management
- Operating in international environments, with flexibility for up to 50% global travel
