Your Mission
Build a global IT function. Lead a defining technology separation. Shape what comes next.
This is a rare opportunity for a technology leader who would rather build the boat than simply row it.
IEP Technologies is seeking a Global Head of Information Technology to build and lead the technology capability of an independent, globally connected industrial business. You will shape the strategy, stand up the operating model, lead a major ERP carveout and establish the systems, contracts, controls, partners and team required for stand-alone success.
The immediate mission is clear: deliver a successful technology separation, exit transition services responsibly and establish a secure, scalable and cost-effective IT function without recreating unnecessary legacy complexity. Once that foundation is in place, you will guide the next horizon of digital transformation, data, automation and responsible AI.
If the idea of leading an ERP carveout feels like an opportunity to create something exceptional, this role may be for you.
How you will make a difference
You will build and lead:
- A stand-alone global IT organization, governance model, service portfolio and partner ecosystem designed for IEP Technologies’ scale and ambitions.
- A successful SAP S/4HANA carveout and implementation agenda that supports manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, supply chain and shop-floor technology needs.
- A disciplined separation and TSA-exit roadmap that protects business continuity while creating independent capability.
- A secure and resilient technology environment spanning corporate systems and relevant operational technologies.
- A fit-for-purpose sourcing model across software, infrastructure, cloud, licensing, telecommunications and managed services.
- Financial transparency and control across implementation spend, recurring costs, contracts, licenses and vendor performance.
- A practical longer-term roadmap for data, analytics, automation, digital solutions and AI.
What you should be good at
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience. An advanced degree is valued but not required.
- Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience. Substantial progressive technology leadership experience, including responsibility for global or multi-region strategy, operations and organizational leadership.
- Demonstrated success personally leading major technology implementations, ERP transformations or the build-out of IT capabilities from the ground up. Carveout experience is valued but not required.
- Meaningful SAP S/4HANA experience and sufficient technical depth to oversee an ERP carveout, challenge design decisions and work effectively with implementation partners.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing, inventory, warehouse and supply-chain operations, including integrations with shopfloor or warehouse technologies.
- Hands-on experience negotiating technology agreements, structuring outsourced and managed services, defining SLAs and managing vendor performance.
- Experience building and managing IT budgets, controlling implementation and recurring costs, and making disciplined internal-versus-outsourced operating-model choices
- Broad leadership exposure across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data and service delivery.
- Ability to influence credibly from the boardroom to the manufacturing plant, warehouse or field-service environment, with executive-level English communication skills.
What you can look forward to
- Industry Leadership: Join a global leader in safety solutions with expertise and a forward-looking vision.
