Your Mission
The Head of Sales – Compressor Service is responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy, overseeing sales operations, and achieving revenue growth within the North America region. This role requires a leader who can support customer needs, lead a sales team, and identify growth opportunities.

- Sales and Strategy Leadership
- Develop/execute comprehensive sales strategy for NA Service Market
- Set and achieve annual sales targets and objectives
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer need to adapt strategies proactively
- Team Leadership and Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Ensure the team is equipped with the tools, training, and resources to succeed
- Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Act as a senior point of contact for high-value or strategic accounts
- Promote customer-centric solutions and ensure customer satisfaction
- Business Development and Growth
- Identify new business opportunities, products, and services
- Partner with marketing and product teams to align offerings with customer demands
- Collaborate with global sales leaders to leverage synergies and share best practices
- Sales Operations and Performance
- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the region
- Optimize sales processes, pricing points, tools and systems for efficiency and effectiveness
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve results
What you should be good at
- Energetic, passionate customer advocate, delivering the 'Voice of the Customer' to the organization.
- Required: Oil and Gas expertise with a focus on US downstream, including gulf coast refineries. Must understand the vertical market - upstream, midstream, downstream, shale, LNG.
- At least 10 years of Industrial Sales Management experience; experience working in a matrix organization (overlay sales resources, national and global accounts, product managers).
- Demonstrated experience in building an effective sales team, including recruiting, training, and retaining skilled personnel. Experience working with HR and Finance to align sales compensation with business goals.
- Skilled professional with strong presentation abilities and extensive C-level customer engagement experience.
- Proven history of successfully executing orders, contracts, and master service agreements with major industrial end users.
- Financial expertise with knowledge of the quote to cash cycle, including collections.
- Technical skills, including working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software and ERP
- Knowledge of compressor products and solutions in the Oil & Gas market, as well as experience with rotating equipment, is preferred. Industrial repair experience is also beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
