As a Linux Administrator, you will be a key driver in building and maintaining a robust, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure. Your expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Linux-based servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian) will ensure the backbone of our enterprise systems remains reliable and efficient. By configuring and optimizing Docker containers, you will streamline development and production workflows, accelerating delivery and scaling with ease.
Your skills in developing Bash automation scripts will reduce manual effort, increase consistency, and improve deployment speed across teams. With a strong focus on security, you will enforce system hardening, timely patching, and proactive monitoring to safeguard our critical assets.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of RHEL, Ubuntu, and Debian distributions, including their configuration and administration.
- Containerization: Proficient in Docker, with experience in creating and managing containers in production environments.
- Scripting: Advanced skills in Bash scripting for automation.
- Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and other network-related concepts.
- Security: Hands-on experience implementing system hardening and patch management
What you should be good at

Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and MySQL database environments to ensure high availability and performance.

Configure, deploy, and optimize Docker containers for both development and production workloads.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline routine tasks and deployments.

Collaborate with development teams to support Node.js and JavaScript applications, including efficient package management with NPM.

Administer and monitor key systems such as Elastic (ELK) Stack for logging and analytics.

Manage Cert Manager for automated certificate provisioning and renewal.

Oversee Docker Desktop and container environments to ensure seamless development and operational workflows.

Implement Puppet for configuration management and infrastructure automation.

Perform scheduled Linux OS upgrades and patch management to maintain system stability and security.

Implement security headers and protocols to harden systems against vulnerabilities.
-
Manage Harbor registry for container image storage and security compliance.

Work within CI/CD pipelines and embrace DevOps best practices for continuous integration and delivery.

Utilize monitoring tools like PRTG, Prometheus, or Grafana to proactively track system health and performance.

Maintain knowledge and support for virtualization platforms including VMware and KVM.

Support cloud environment integration and maintenance, specifically with Microsoft Azure services.
