As an Assembler, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process by assembling detectors, vents, actuators, and other system and electrical components to precise specifications. You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality production, meet delivery deadlines, and support continuous improvement efforts across our operations. This position may also involve cross-training in related manufacturing or logistics functions as needed.
How you will make a difference
- Optimizing Processes: Identifying inefficiencies in operations and implementing process improvements to reduce costs and delivery times.
- Streamlining documentation: Labeling procedures to prevent shipment errors and delays.
- Utilizing data analytics and ERP systems: Enhance tracking and logistics coordination.
- Enhancing Collaboration & Communication Acting as a key liaison between shipping, logistics, and other departments to improve workflow
- Contributing to Business Success: Helping the company maintain a strong reputation by ensuring timely and compliant deliveries.
What you should be good at
- Following Detailed Work Instructions: Accurately interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, assembly drawings, and specifications.
- Attention to Detail: Identify and correct assembly errors to ensure all components meet quality and safety standards.
- Manual Dexterity: Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment with precision and care.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively to meet production deadlines and daily output goals.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and collaborate with team members or supervisors to resolve them.
- Teamwork: Communicate and work cooperatively with colleagues across departments to maintain a smooth production flow.
- Adaptability: Learn and apply new skills quickly, including cross-training in different product lines or assembly areas.
- Basic Computer Skills: Use ERP systems or digital work instructions to track tasks, record progress, and manage inventory.
- Commitment to Safety: Follow all safety protocols and report hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
