How you will make a difference

  • Inspect incoming parts for compliance with quality specifications
  • Conduct final inspection of outgoing products before shipment
  • Coordinate and manage day-to-day calibration tasks and scheduling
  • Use metrology tools to inspect and assess product dimensions and tolerances
  • Generate control plans and inspection checklists
  • Determine appropriate inspection criteria based on specifications
  • Execute inventory transactions related to inspection and calibration activities
  • Manage and maintain on-site and off-site calibration processes

What you should be good at

  • Five years of experience in quality/inspection in a manufacturing environment or AS in electronics or other technical discipline plus three years of related experience
  • Must be able to pass appropriate criminal background checks to be able to work with Class C explosives (Federal, ATF)
  • Experience using Metrology tools for inspections and Calibration Software
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP experience (such as SAP, Oracle)
  • Position requires abilility to stand, walk, manual dexterity for handling parts and tools, ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds, good vision and ability to focus on small details
