At Newson Gale, we’re seeking a passionate Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth and strengthen our Newson Gale product line in North America. Join our team to make a lasting impact by expanding market presence and building trusted partnerships with customers, OEMs, and resellers. Your strategic efforts will position us as the go-to provider for electrostatic solutions, enabling safer industrial environments.
This position covers the Northeast region, including: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia and Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland Canada. Position requires 50%-60% travel. Successful candidates should currently reside in the Philadelphia, Norther New Jersey or Bethlehem PA area.
How you will make a difference
- Drive Sales Growth: Expand the Newson Gale product line by targeting new and existing customers, OEMs, engineering firms, and resellers in the Northeast region.
- Build Brand Recognition: Establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor in electrostatic protection, enhancing brand visibility and customer trust.
- Strengthen Distribution Channels: Develop and manage partnerships with distributors and sales representatives to increase market share and customer acceptance.
- Leverage CRM for Efficiency: Utilize CRM tools to optimize territory coverage, improve quotation closure rates, and provide actionable market insights.
- Promote Innovation: Collaborate with HOERBIGER Safety counterparts and product specialists to identify joint opportunities and enhance product offerings.
- Educate and Engage: Deliver training and presentations to customers, OEMs, and resellers to raise awareness of electrostatic hazard control solutions.
What you should be good at
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes in combustible liquids, vapors, powders, and bulk solids-handling industries, or experience with industrial fire protection/life safety equipment.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record in technical product sales, ideally in the Fire and Life Safety industry, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Business Development: Ability to cultivate new customer relationships and manage distribution channels effectively.
- Presentation Skills: Experience delivering technical and sales presentations to diverse audiences, including end users, A&E firms, and distributors.
- Self-Motivation: A proactive, hands-on mentality with the ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, travel-intensive role.
- Must be able to travel (fly/drive) up to 60%; valid Driver license required.
