Customer Service / Supply Chain Officer

Your Mission

Based in the Brisbane branch , you will support customers and internal stakeholders through high quality service, order processing, and supply chain coordination.

How you will make a difference

You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and external suppliers to ensure customer expectations are met efficiently and professionally.

What you should be good at

•    Having a strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and organisational skills
•    Displaying a high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
•    Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system (or willingness to become a process expert) 
•    Sound computer skills and confidence working with data and systems 
•    Ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team
•    A mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn technical product and service fundamentals 
•    Understanding of commercial trading processes and supply chain principles
•    Providing a consistently high level of customer service to internal and external customers 
•    Answering customer enquiries regarding products, services, pricing, and order status
•    Preparing and processing customer quotations and sales orders accurately and efficiently
•    Processing internal and external orders using SAP and other internal systems
•    Liaising with Engineering, Production, Sales, and Area Sales Managers to enable timely order fulfilment
•    Establishing and managing future warehousing setup in Brisbane branch, to ensure timely delivery to customers
•    Inventory Management: Setting inventory targets and managing stock levels
•    Placing purchase orders with suppliers and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics
•    Coordinating dispatch of outgoing orders to customers, ensuring delivery commitments are met
•    Maintaining customer records, pricing conditions, and cross references in internal systems
•    Supporting supply chain and procurement activities, including inventory management, logistics, forecasting, and basic operational analysis
•    Assisting the Branch Manager with additional tasks as required
•    Ensuring compliance with HOERBIGER Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems

This role is a key part of the HOERBIGER Australia Customer Service team and plays a critical role in supporting customers through timely information, accurate order processing, quotations, and ongoing communication. You will supported with relevant ongoing training and education and the opportunity for advancement in a global organisation. 

Important Information

The role is full time Monday to Friday 38 hours per week based on-site in our Brisbane branch 

You should be based in Australia and MUST have a current RIGHT to WORK full time in Australia to apply for this position.
