Join a global industry leader delivering high‑quality component manufacturing and machining services for the energy sector. As a Manual Machinist, you’ll play a key role producing and repairing compressor components that keep essential industries moving.

How you will make a difference

• Operate and set up horizontal boring mills and large manual lathes to machine precision components.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering specifications to ensure every part meets exact standards.
• Perform high‑level inspection and quality checks using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision tools.
• Offer insight to improve tooling, fixtures, and workflows, helping reduce scrap and boost efficiency.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and quality teams to continually improve safety, cost, and performance.

What you should be good at

• 5+ years of experience setting up and operating manual machines (horizontal boring mills and large manual lathes).
• Strong ability to set up and indicate jaws, select tools, and adjust offsets.
• Solid math skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, engineering memos, and material data.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first mindset.
• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Experience in oil & gas or with reciprocating compressors (a plus).
