Your Mission

As a our Test Technician at Newson Gale Ltd, you will use your technical electrical expertise to ensure the highest standards of testing our static earthing products (final product testing of enclosure with internal PCB) . You will be key to maintaining operational excellence, delivering consistent quality, and help drive continuous improvement. .

How you will make a difference

• Strive for Excellence: Working hands on and adhering to our Total Quality Management System (TQMS), you will ensure that Newson Gale Products adhere to the highest quality standards, complies with safety regulations. You will help drive excellence across all test-related activities.
• Promoting a Safe Work Environment: Working safely whilst testing high-voltage products, helping prevent accidents and equipment damage.
• Supporting Continuous Improvement and Team Accountability: Participate in improvement activities and taking ownership of team KPIs, you will drive productivity, efficiency gains and ensure our customers receive a product that can save lives. 
• Enhancing Team Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Fosters a cooperative environment and help build a more skilled, resilient workforce..

What you should be good at

• Attention to Detail: To accurately test products, identify non-conformities, and ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards like ATEX or ISO9001.

• Technical Competence: Especially in working safely with mains voltage systems, using test equipment, and understanding product testing protocols.

• Communication Skills: For effectively reporting issues, participating in meetings, training colleagues, and collaborating with other departments.

• Problem-Solving Abilities: To support continuous improvement activities, proactively resolve team queries, and contribute to efficiency and performance goals.

• Organizational and Record-Keeping Skills: To reliably document test/build data, track non-conformities, and manage labeling systems accurately.
