Your Mission

We are seeking an Application Support professional to join our expanding Global Business Services division, as part of the Innovation Group, leading our digital transformation initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to customer-focused digitization projects and support strategic business applications.

It is ideal for recent graduates who have a degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant computer science discipline and are eager to learn programming alongside support functions to enhance their technical expertise and grow their careers within a global organization. 

How you will make a difference

• Providing second-level technical support as part of the IT team, ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients.
• Supporting, optimizing, and customizing in-house software solutions using core Microsoft technologies.
• Driving problem analysis, workaround creation, root cause identification, and oversight of major incident management.
• Deploying service releases, patches, and customizations in alignment with release plans and client requirements.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate, high-quality documentation for solution and application support activities.
• To assist with the support of internal applications and infrastructure

What you should be good at

• Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify the root of issues and solve re-occurring technical problems
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple issues at one time throughout the day
• Responsible for the classification, categorization, and prioritization of incidents
• Practical experience of Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS and networking
• Understanding of software development cycle
• Basic experience in programming using Microsoft technologies such as C#, VB.Net, Web, HTML/CSS/JS, to improve efficiencies and provide workarounds to issues
• Good knowledge and experience with MS SQL Scripts
• Learning oriented 
• Familiarity with source control and development IDEs
• Understanding of change and release management
• Basic understanding of the latest technologies such as Angular, Web API will be advantageous
