Your Mission

As an SAP BI/BW Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will ensure the availability of accurate, reliable, and timely business intelligence that supports financial consolidation, planning, forecasting, and strategic management reporting.

By seamlessly integrating and optimizing data flows across SAP BW, Tagetik, and the Global Data Warehouse, you will help transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business performance and operational excellence.

By taking ownership of enterprise reporting and data warehouse solutions, you will ensure reliable financial and management reporting, transform complex business requirements into scalable SAP BI/BW solutions, and strengthen the performance, quality, and resilience of our global data landscape. Working closely with international stakeholders, you will help modernize our reporting architecture and create lasting value for the business.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Safeguard accurate and timely month-end closure by providing dependable operational support and resolving data reconciliation issues across reporting systems.
• Ensure business-critical data is available when needed by proactively monitoring data loads, process chains, interfaces, and overall system reliability.
• Restore service quickly and prevent recurring issues by leading L3 incident analysis, troubleshooting complex defects, and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Turn evolving business needs into measurable outcomes by delivering high-quality change requests, enhancements, and project commitments on time.
• Build scalable, high-performing SAP BW data models, transformations, and reporting solutions that improve data accessibility, consistency, and decision-making.
• Partner with global Management Reporting and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, align priorities, and deliver solutions that create lasting business value.

What you should be good at

• SAP BW/4HANA, BW on HANA, LSA++, aDSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, InfoObjects, Process Chains, Bex Query Designer, BW Modeling Tools (Eclipse).
• CDS Views, Virtual Data Modeling (VDM), Data Control Language (DCL).
• ABAP (Transformations, Start/End/Expert routines, CMOD Enhancements), AMDP, SQL Script.
• Knowledge of various Extractors (FI, SD, MM) methodologies.
• End-to-end data reconciliation, cross-system data validation, L3 production support, incident handling.
