Working closely with local and global stakeholders, you will help build a procurement function that supports profitable growth and operational excellence.

How you will make a difference

  • Drive Cost Optimization: You lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, value engineering projects, and total cost of ownership analyses to achieve sustainable savings and improve profitability.
  • Develop Procurement Strategy: You create sourcing strategies that align with the global procurement strategy and blends in local business goals while balancing cost, quality, delivery performance, and risk.
  • Build Strategic Supplier Partnerships: You identify, qualify, and develop suppliers while establishing long-term relationships that create value and support cost competitiveness.
  • Ensure Material Availability: You manage purchasing operations, supplier forecasts, and supply continuity to support production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Optimize Inventory & Working Capital: You collaborate with Operations, Planning, and Finance to reduce excess inventory, improve inventory turns, and free up working capital.
  • Strengthen Supply Chain Resilience: You proactively manage supplier risks, monitor market trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and procurement performance.

What you should be good at

  • Professional foundation: You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline and bring seven to ten years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership: You have at least three years of experience leading purchasing teams and can develop people through clear priorities, accountability, and constructive collaboration.
  • Strategic procurement: You have strong capabilities in supplier negotiation, strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier development, and commercial decision-making.
  • Operational expertise: You understand manufacturing processes, inventory management, supply chain operations, and ERP-based purchasing. Experience with IFS is an advantage.
  • Analytical mindset: You use data, market insights, and structured problem-solving to manage cost, improve performance, mitigate risk, and support sound business decisions.
  • International communication: You communicate fluently in Italian and English, work effectively in a multinational environment, and are available for occasional domestic and international travel.

What you can look forward to

  • Strategic impact: You will influence procurement performance, manufacturing continuity, inventory efficiency, and profitable growth.
  • Meaningful leadership: You will guide purchasing priorities, strengthen team capabilities, and establish trusted supplier relationships.
