Your Mission

Join HOERBIGER Service Inc. as a Shop Supervisor at our flagship Houston Service Center – the largest in North America. In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee daily shop operations, guide a skilled team, and ensure our customers receive world-class compressor service.

How you will make a difference

  • Lead shop floor operations to deliver safe, high-quality, and on-time repairs.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate a skilled workforce.
  • Plan labor and manage costs, productivity, and efficiency KPIs.
  • Champion HOERBIGER’s safety culture with 100% compliance.
  • Collaborate across functions to meet customer needs and drive repeat business.
  • Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
  • Directly supervise a team of over 20 employees, including machinists, valve machinists, CNC machine operators, mechanics, quality inspectors, shop coordinators, customer service representatives, and team leads.

What you should be good at

  • Technical knowledge of reciprocating compressors and repair practices.
  • Experience leading teams in a service or repair environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and customer focus.
  • Ability to manage workforce planning, costs, and operational KPIs.
