Your Mission

• Ensure the correct engineering processes are executed for Core Products and Non-Core products and services (enquiries/quotations/orders) within RU APAC
• Coordination of training and development activities for local branch and application engineers to strongly support the competency development of the team
• Expediting critical tasks and having the overview and responsibility to distribute workload among available capacity
• Taking a lead role in projects to expand the scope of offering in RU APAC

• Help to improve Engineering Process Efficiency and subsequently Quotation Cycle Time for new products and service enquiries
• Strongly supporting the development of the RU APAC Engineering team to ensure that each member of the team is fully skilled to take on the diverse challenges of their role
• Driving ongoing improvements in engineering tools and systems, and leading projects to meet future engineering requirements of the business

1. Presentation & Communication: takes a technical leadership role in meetings. Communicates clearly and informatively, presents information effectively, able to create and deliver technical presentations

2. Organization & Structure: excels in his organizational capabilities and is capable of defining and refining processes efficiently

3. Product Know How: understands product portfolio. Capable to engineer HOE core product and to prepare technical quotations.

4. Systems & tools: MS Office, 4PEP, SAP, ESM, Service Next

5. Foreign Language: English in order to communicate globally, knowledge exchange, trainings, etc...

What you can look forward to - Responsibilities

Engineering Coordination Position

• Works mainly in the quotation/order process for HOERBIGER core products and capital parts
• Ensures branch engineers provide the correct product specifications and instructions using global standard tools and formats, such as ESM/ITKK
• Coordinates that inquiries are sent to the correct plants for drawing and material master/ part creation.
• Takes professional initiatives and making carefully considered technical decisions.
• In accordance with globally defined standards and processes, coordinates the selection of products for customers based on their needs and requirements.
• Works closely with branch engineers and Regional engineers to obtain pertinent information and specifications related to product selection and configuration.
• Coordinates engineering experts to evaluate and configure products to function reliably in the field.
• Provides technical assistance to interpret, analyze and resolve manufacturing and field operating problems in the branches or on site.

Training & Development Coordination Position

• Execute/ Coordinate Skill assessment using Skills Matrix for all Regional Engineers
• Involvement in the creation of training action plans for all engineers in the Region
• Consolidation of all training requirements
• Identify suitable training programs and trainers for individual requirements
• Coordination of required training sessions.

Project Coordination:

• Leads projects to expand the engineering scope of work and offering within APAC
• Roles out new tools and processes efficiently and effectively
