Your Mission

Design and develop advanced slip-ring technologies for high performance applications across the globe. In this role, you’ll blend product innovation, customer collaboration, rapid prototyping, and hands on engineering to deliver robust solutions primarily for the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) market, with exciting opportunities to support sectors including automation, energy, and medical devices.

How you will make a difference

• Engineer next‑generation slip‑ring solutions for global customers including A&D markets—from RF/high‑frequency design to material selection and advanced CAD concepts.
• Build, test, and validate prototypes through hands‑on experimentation, HALT, and compliance testing.
• Collaborate with global customers to understand mission‑critical applications and deliver optimized, tailored solutions.
• Partner across manufacturing, procurement, quality, and repair teams to ensure excellence and drive meaningful design improvements.
• Boost reliability and performance using FMEA/MTBF analysis, failure‑mode investigations, and corrective actions.
• Champion DFM/DFA principles and develop innovative test methods and custom fixtures.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts using 8D, 5WHY, and 80/20 methodologies, including supporting ECOs and project planning.

What you should be good at

• Apply quality assembly and soldering practices, including basic electrical/mechanical assembly.
• Understand data communication methods and general electronic circuit design.
• Design products using CAD, perform engineering calculations, and validate designs through testing.
• Conduct electrical performance testing (noise, impedance, dielectric withstanding, etc.).
• Perform MTBF and FMEA reliability calculations.
• Interpret complex technical instructions, diagrams, and mathematical concepts (geometry, trigonometry).
• Communicate clearly through reports and presentations while collaborating effectively in cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Experience in electromechanical design, sensors, RF systems, or rotating equipment is a plus.
