Join our dynamic manufacturing support team of operators who are cross trained to make production more efficient and work more interesting. Operators are trained to work in four different areas – Assembly, Lapping, Conveyance, and Shipping/Receiving. Manufacturing experience is preferred; however we provide training. This a non-exempt position with a pay range from $19.87 to $26.87 per hour. Pay will be based on qualifications and experience.
How you will make a difference
- Read, comprehend, and execute shop order requirements.
- Follow standardized manufacturing procedures, performing quality checks to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Operate standard hand tools, presses, pneumatic tools, gauges, test equipment, hoists, and other machinery.
- Accurately interpret blueprints to perform job functions.
What you should be good at
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting standardized work instructions, safety guidelines, and operating and maintenance manuals.
- Strong practical judgment with the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Competent in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Skilled in manual dexterity, with the ability to efficiently produce various products in a work cell environment.
- Effective team player with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced setting.
