As a Global Process Expert Production & Production Planning, you will play a key role in shaping and harmonizing production planning processes across our global organization. You will connect business and technology, driving standardized processes, digital transformation, and innovative planning solutions that enable operational excellence. Working closely with global stakeholders, you will continuously improve production planning capabilities, foster transparency, and help unlock the value of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions. Your expertise will contribute directly to creating efficient, scalable, and future-ready manufacturing processes across our worldwide network.
How you will make a difference
- Drive Global Standards: Ensure consistent Production and Production Planning processes across divisions and plants in alignment with global templates and governance.
- Shape Planning Excellence: Optimize planning activities including rough-cut planning, detailed scheduling, finite capacity planning, capacity management, and shopfloor execution.
- Lead Digital Transformation: Support the implementation of new processes, SAP PP enhancements, APS solutions, MES integrations, and innovative planning technologies.
- Enable Continuous Improvement: Identify process optimization opportunities, evaluate AI-driven capabilities, and implement sustainable improvements together with local and global teams.
- Connect Business and IT: Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and collaborate closely with IT, Global Process Owners, and Key Users.
- Build Global Capability: Deliver user training, foster knowledge sharing, improve master data quality, and support successful adoption of new processes and systems.
What you should be good at
- Production Planning Expertise: Several years of operational experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, or production management environments.
- SAP Knowledge: Strong hands-on expertise in SAP PP and a solid understanding of production execution and planning processes.
- Advanced Planning Competence: Knowledge of finite capacity planning, detailed scheduling, APS solutions such as SAP PP/DS, and manufacturing execution concepts.
- Process & Analytics Skills: Ability to analyse complex planning requirements, conduct gap analyses, and identify practical improvement opportunities.
- Digital Mindset: Strong interest in process innovation, automation, digitalization, Artificial Intelligence, and modern collaboration tools such as Copilot.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder management skills, a structured and independent working style, and strong Business English proficiency.
